9AM GAY NIHILISM
Chez Etym. was proud to represent 9AM GAY NIHILSIM, the work of John Garrood, as part of the 2021 Architecture Fringe Open Programme. In stream and flow, 9AM GAY NIHILISM is an earnest and vulnerable explorative text on queerness, nihilism and architecture. Encompassing form, the body, self-perception, meaning and diet quantum theory, it was a half-baked surge originally uploaded in digital segments over fifteen days at 9am, for the duration of the Architecture Fringe festival. Begining on June 5th, each day’s segment was readable alongside the previous day’s, with the unabridged text being released in print on June 20th, and available from Good Press; 50% of sales donated to LGBT Health and Wellbeing.
